The cuisine that is offered in Hawaii is worth the price of the airfare. Based on some recommendations from Mary Ann and some locals last year, I ate at some fantastic cafes and restaurants on the island of Maui. I also remember a fantastic pineapple creme brulee -- fresh crushed pineapple in the custard and served in a ring of fresh pineapple -- which I believe was served here.
Already, the Hawaii Five is eyeing up the top picks for eating destinations on the Big Island and looking for menus for some previously-tried-and-wanting-to-go-back restaurants. Since I'm travelling with a few foodies, I can look forward to enjoying some great meals.
