This long-legged, bitey (?) fellow was caught sneaking into Andy and Tamas's unit of the house. He was quickly scuttled out of the unit, off of the porch, and on his way.

Cute! This is a praying mantis, and as far as I can remember, they don't bite. Except when the female eats the male after mating..... yikes!
Merry Christmas to you all- the snow here is lovely but doesn't compare to that black sand beach.
